Taj Mahal Legends: Was it a Hindu Temple?

Research has shown that there are irrefutable facts that point towards the Taj Mahal being Hindu Temple earlier on. The famous historian Shri P.N. Oak published a book in 1965 by the title of "Taj Mahal - The True Story", which states logic and facts that point towards the Taj Mahal being "Tejo Mahalaya", a Shiva temple. There are 110 proofs gathered from recorded journals of that period along with basic logical deductions.

The complete list of proofs can be found at http://www.scribd.com/doc/6938722/HINDU-TEJO-MAHALAYA-PAST-TRUTH-OF-TAJ-MAHAL

Some important proofs are mentioned below:

1. The fact that the term Taj Mahal never occurs in any court papers in the times of Aurangzeb.

2. Shahjahan's court document, the Badshahnama (picture below) which has been translated to English clearly states (on Page 403, Vol 1) that a great structure with a dome (Imaarat-a-Alishan wa Gumbaze) was taken from Jaipur's Maharaja Jaisigh and had belonged to his father Raja Mansingh.

  Taj Mahal Finial showing Kalash
Depicted are a cocunut, mango leaves on a kalash, all Hindu symbols

3. The above picture shows a close up shot of the upper portion of the pinnacle of the Taj Mahal. Muslim cresents or half moons are normally almost closed circles with a portion open for the star. This crescent looks more like a Hindu one, as it is horizontal. Also on top of it, one can see a coconut, bent mango leaves, and a kalash, all of them exclusively Hindu symbols.

  Taj Mahal Well
The treasure well at the Taj Mahal

4. The above well called the Treasury well of the Hindu temple palace had eight sides with apartments on each side. This was used to hide treasure chests if the building was beseiged by enemies. The existence of this well makes it more plausible that the structure was a palace temple. Otherwise, why would a masoleum hold a octagonal multi storeyed treasure well?
